ATI rises once again
November 18, 2009AMD launched the latest ATI Radeon series today, the 5970. Sporting 3200 stream processors, and 40nm arc, it’s fast as fuck, and doesn’t chew up a ton of power. Unfortunately, this also marks the day that top of the line is going to cost you quite a bit more. IF you can find one (I couldn’t after searching for 3 hours) expect to pay 500-600 bucks. And thats just for 1. I would expect the prices to come down a bit closer to fake jesus birthday, but they will still most likely be in the 400+ range.
